Add Test or Survey

Use Blackboard to administer a practice exam, graded quiz, or anonymously poll your students.

For tests, Blackboard offers several question types, from multiple choice to fill in the blank, that it will automatically grade based on your input when setting up the exam. Blackboard allows you to set time limits, post the exam for a limited amount of time, allow multiple attempts, or force completion. You can display all the questions on one page, or display only one question at a time. There are also several ways to give feedback to the students. You can choose to show only the score they received, or to display detailed results such as the correct answer and feedback for the answer chosen.

Test Availability Screen

Surveys are anonymous after three or more students have taken the survey. Blackboard records which students have taken the survey, but you cannot associate specific answers with any one student. These are great for assessing content comprehension or pre and post topic knowledge assessments.
