Be sure to leave the enrollment check-box unchecked when you are copying content from an official (banner-generated) Blackboard course to another official course to avoid including the last semester students in your new course.
Sharing of course content

Using the Export function, you can create a .zip file of your course to share with colleagues who can then import the course package in their own Blackboard course for further development.
Record Keeping

Since archiving a course includes all student records, it offers you a good way to keep historical records of student work
