Size Matters!
(Staff Information)

WYSIWYG!
(Add Item)
What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) is part of the Item tool in any of the content areas and allows you to format your content, attach files, insert hyperlinks with ease. Be sure to use Internet Explorer 5.0 and above to have this functionality available to you
Contents
(Add Folder)
Be sure to include a brief description of the contents of each folder that you use in your course. This will save your students the time and eliminate any frustration that may arise if they have to go into each folder to find out what is included in that folder.
Where did Blackboard go?
(Add External Link)
Verify that the website link you are including in your course will in fact display within the Blackboard environment. If the external website you are linking to takes over the browser window, consider launching it in a separate window. Remember to include a note to your students that the website will open in another browser window to minimize any confusion.
Avoid confusion
(Add Course Link)
Course links can be useful in intra-connecting the course content. Make sure that you include a brief description on where the link will take the students and what they are expected to do when they get there.
Recommending a sequence
(Add Learning Unit)
Depending on the nature of your course content, you may want to consider using earning units as they come with their own Table of Contents and with a page-by-page internal navigation allowing your students to interact with the content within a more controlled environment
