Add TA

Before trying to add your TA in the course, make sure that you have the TA’s NetID as this is the only piece of information you need to add someone as a TA in your course.

Remove TA

Keep in mind that TAs have very similar access to instructors within a Blackboard course so be sure to remove your TA(s) when the course is over unless they continue to work with you on the same course.

There can be Only One!
(Add Guest Lecturer)

Note that there can be only one guest lecturer account per Blackboard course. Because this is a generic student account, the guest lecturer account will be visible in your gradebook and may impact your class average if you are using this account to test out your quizzes, tests, etc.

Remove Guest Lecturer

You have the option during the semester to remove the guest lecturer account and withdraw access to the person you provided the generic username and password. You area also able to add the guest lecturer account back in if you need to provide access to another guest lecturer and use a different password.

Which group do you belong to?
(Roster Information)

Use Roster Information to easily view your roster sorted by groups so that you can address student questions in an informative manner.

Remove Library User

It is a good idea to remove library users from your course once the e-reserve links are posted in Blackboard to reduce the number of courses that appear in their Blackboard course list.
