Course Copy using Export/Import

If you are teaching a course now, and will not be teaching this course again within the next sixteen months, it is best to Export the course content. When once again you are teaching this course, and the new semester brings an empty course shell onto your Blackboard Course List page, you may use Import Package from the Control Panel for the destination course. Like Course Copy, you can choose what items to Import into the new course.

The Export process will save a ZIP file onto your computer in a location chosen by you. This is the "Package" you will later Import back into your new Blackboard course shell. The ZIP file is not usable offline, and may look confusing if you open it, just a warning.
