Avoid confusion
Course links can be useful in intra-connecting the course content. Make sure that you include a brief description on where the link will take the students and what they are expected to do when they get there.

Course Links provide direct access to other parts of your course. You could link directly to information that is contained inside a folder in a different content area, or you could provide a link to discussion forums that are related to the topic.
