Add Course Link

Course Links provide direct access to other parts of your course. You could link directly to information that is contained inside a folder in a different content area, or you could provide a link to discussion forums that are related to the topic.

To add a link to another part of the same course within a Content Area

1. Control Panel > [Name of destination Content Area] (from Content Areas pane)
2. Add Course Link
3. Give your link a title - this is the text your students will see as a hyplerlink.
4. In the text box provided optionally write a description for your course link.
5. In section 2, click on Browse to see a course map open in a new small window.
6. Within this window, select the area to which you wish the students to link.
7. Click Submit in the small window.
8. In section 3, choose dates of availability if necessary.
9. Click Submit.
