There are several steps in designing an effective instructional web site:

    1. Deciding on the purpose for your web site
    2. Identifying the audience for the web site
    3. Specifying the content
    4. Choosing the correct tool or software for developing your website
    5. Creating a flowchart
    6. Creating a storyboard
    7. Developing your site
    8. Testing your site
