"Student E-leanrning Readiness" by Professor Ryan Watkins
9/30/2003
The learning skills and study habits necessary for success in the online classroom are not always the same as those utilized in the conventional classroom. The new technologies that allow our students the opportunity to expand their education beyond the traditional classroom also produce barriers to success that are dealt with by successful students through the development of new skills and habits specific for the online environment. In this presentation we will provide tips, suggestions, and guidance for working with students to develop these new learning skills and study habits that can help them be successful in any course that uses online technologies.
